Life may be like a box of chocolates, but our Ditty bag is more like perfect! The forest green Sunbrella® exterior, coupled with a Capitano Cityscape vinyl bottom, will stand up to any situation.

Dating back to 1860 and used to hold a sailor's personal items, our Ditty sack wraps marine grade canvas inside and out, uses a hardy vinyl for the bottom band, adds stainless steel hardware and a 100% cotton rigging rope that is hand-whipped and twice-dipped to create the perfect unisex carryall. Hand carry or wear on shoulder/cross body. A matching canvas stop cinches top shut.

Each bag is initialed and uniquely numbered, with no two ever alike. Ditty - Small measures 8"W x 16"H; Ditty - Medium coming soon.

A little history. Ditty bags were the first projects assigned to an apprentice either in the sail-maker's trade or as a working seaman.  The reason for this is that these items incorporated primary skills needed when making and repairing sails. Besides learning the techniques of seaming, cutting and sewing eyelets, the bags were an essential part of a sailor's sea-going wardrobe.
